We recommend HD eReader devices with full color display for the best possible comic book reading experience. The following includes some recommended apps for opening the different file types on your device or computer.

iPad: Download the PDF, EPUB, or .cbz comic files to your computer so they can be USB transferred to your iPad and read through the iBook app. For most formats, you can also use Comic Flow app, available in the iTunes app store. Using iTunes on your pc you can select the Comic Flow app and add the files while connected via USB. Your iPad will show as attached on the right side of the control bar as a button (notice eject symbol next to it), that same button when clicked on the left side with allow you to choose the apps that are installed on your iPad. Choose apps and then scroll down to select the Comic Flow app. Click add on the bottom right side, browse to your downloaded comic file, click open and the download will begin. When the download has finished open the Comic Flow app and your comics will be ready for your reading pleasure.

iPhone: Download the PDF or .cbz comic files to your computer so they can be USB transferred to your iPhone using the reader application of your choice such as Chunky Comic Reader, available in the iTunes app store. Using iTunes on your pc you can select the app of your choice and add the files while connected via USB. Your iPhone will show as attached on the right side of the control bar as a button (notice eject symbol next to it), that same button when clicked on the left side with allow you to choose the apps that are installed on your iPhone. Choose apps and then scroll down to select the ComicBookLover app. Click add on the bottom right side, browse to your downloaded comic file, click open and the download will begin. When the download has finished open the Comic Flow app and your comics will be ready for your reading pleasure.

Android: Download the EPUB or .cbz comic files to your computer and with your Android device connected via USB, transfer the EPUB or .cbz files to your Android device's Books folder. Then on your Android device, visit the Google Play Store for the Moon+ Reader app and install it to your device. When you open Moon+ Reader your comics will be available for your viewing pleasure.

For PDF comic files, download the file(s) to your computer and then with your Android device connected, transfer the file(s) to your Android Downloads folder. Visit the Google Play Store from your Android device and install the Adobe Reader app. Once installed, open the Adobe Reader app and click on Recents. Your comic file(s) will be available to select for your viewing enjoyment.

NOOK HD: Recommended format EPUB. USB transferring is necessary. Please have plenty of storage space available since some of the comic files are large (file sizes available on your download page). Some devices may only fit one comic at a time when large comic files are being stored on the device.

Kindle Fire HD or HDX: MOBI and PDF formats can be USB transferred if the file size is larger than 21 MB for MOBI and larger than 50 MB for PDF files. The send-to-Kindle option is only available for smaller file sizes; 21 MB or less for MOBI and 50 MB or less for PDF files. For sideloading instructions please click here.

Kindle eInk generations: These devices are not supported for comics: Kindle (first generation), Kindle 2, Kindle 3, Kindle DX, Kindle DX Graphite, Kindle 4, Kindle Touch, Kindle 5, and Kindle Paperwhite.

Formats for Devices

• EPUB
  The EPUB format is supported by most non-Amazon devices including the Nook and the iPad (using iBooks). If you have an Android device, you can install an app that will let you view EPUB files. It is also possible to view EPUB files on a PC by downloading an appropriate application.
• MOBI
  The MOBI format is supported on all Amazon Kindle devices.
• PDF
  The PDF format can be viewed on almost any device without needing to install additional software. However, it lacks some of the features other formats provide, including the ability to adjust font size and typeface. This format has the lowest system requirements, making it ideal for devices with significant memory constraints such as the original iPad.
• .CBZ
  A comic book archive or comic book reader file is a type of archive file for the purpose of sequential viewing of images, especially comic books. Comic book archive files mainly consist of a series of image files stored as a single archive file. The file name extension indicates the archive type used ( .cbz = ZIP). Comic book archive viewers typically offer various dedicated functions to read the content, like one page forward/backwards, go to first/last page, zoom or print.

Known Issues:

Please note: There is a known issue with the Chrome browser displaying the white areas of the comic pages as pink. Updating your drivers may fix the issue. But for the best experience it is recommended that an alternate viewer be used should this occur.
