Very nice drawing tablet, especially for the price! This is my first drawing tablet and I must say, I am very impressed with this product and have no intend to upgrade to Wacom. The tablet's size is nice, not too small like I feared it to be. The surface is responsive, sensing the both the position and pressure of the pen well. I don't use the 6 buttons pretty much at all, so I can't tell you how customizable / responsive they are. I misplaced the cable connecting it to the computer, but quickly & easily bought a replacement from Monoprice. You can download the Monoprice software online, no need to install the CD if that's what you prefer. On the flip side, sometimes the software randomly conflicts with Paint Tool SAI, which then requires a restart of the software. A little annoying but nothing unbearable.Overall, very nice product. Recommend for hours of fun and artsy peeps out there. If you want to see what this tablet can produce, visit my DeviantArt page at LordMerp. ... Read more...

I use this a lot, and it's amazing, the pad is basically my screen which reduces me going off the tablet to reduce messing up and guessing where i was... It's decent, i'd buy again if someone stole mine or if it broke during moving.. I hope it doesn't though, it's been my best friend.. ... Read more...

Perfect in basically every way !!
Perfect in every way, except I would like to change the orientation of the tablet because I am left-handed and there is no such function. But if you're right-handed, it's perfect. Its size is just right and it weighs enough to comfortably hold with one hand. It connects to the computer via USB 2.0. It also has six fully customizable hotkey buttons on the side, which have really come in handy. There is no tilt sensor, but Wacom is really the only company that does tilt, and you know how much THEY charge. The pressure works really well and the surface is extremely scratch-resistant. ... I really like this table on my MacBook
I really like this table on my MacBook. The pen works great and specificity is good. The problem was getting the driver to work. The default Monoprice_Tablet_10593_Setup.mpkg errors out on my OSX 10.9.5. I added a series of images to help get the driver working. Simply open the folder, list the contents of the mpkg file, then eventually get to the pentabletinstallPostflight.pkg file which will install. ... Read more...

Works like a charm for even the pickiest of artists!
My 13 year old loves to draw - some of her drawings are jaw-dropping awesome. Since she also likes to share her drawings electronically with her friends, drawing with pencils then taking pictures and uploading them was getting old, so I bought her a cheap drawing tablet that she used for almost a year until it stopped functioning like it was supposed to. Still not wanting to spend big bucks on something like a Wacom, I did some research to find the perfect drawing tablet that would be comparable in everything but the price tag. This one kept standing out as the best way to go, so I ordered one for Christmas and kept my fingers crossed. My daughter absolutely LOVES this drawing tablet - so much so, she brought her laptop with her on our recent road trip for the holidays and spent 2 hours in the car drawing on this and loving how well it functions for what she needs - and then some. She has used the hubby's Wacom before (which is still buried in moving boxes somewhere), and kept lamenting about *needing* a Wacom, but when she opened this at Christmas and tried it out, she was thrilled it functions just like the Wacom she'd used in the past. And way better than the junky one I had gotten for her last year that really hit home that saying "you get what you pay for".So if you're in the market for a drawing tablet, but don't have the budget for the Wacom ones, look no further! My daughter said to be sure to give this one 5 stars, because it's definitely worth it. She's very picky about that sort of thing, so you can count on it being exactly what you need. ;) ... I had always used Wacom tablets, but I had to retire my VERY old graphire 3 months ago, and no longer in school I didn't have access to their Wacoms - but I also did not have the money for the name-brand one either. I got this one because a digital artist gave it a great review, and it was well-deserved. The sensitivity feels just like a wacom, pressure is great, only con is that the pen does not have the "eraser" at the end - but I will live. For something that is far less pricey than the cheapest wacoms, this is very comparable.I advise you turn off "tablet pc" if you are using windows (you can google how), because at first you might get some glitches and turning that off helped me a lot. ...
