Seeking Sega Swirl CDI — or at least a way to get existing one to function
Post#1 » Sun Oct 30, 2016 2:52 pm
I grew up with the barebones PC version of Sega Swirl, and now that I have a console, I want to play the console version. The problem is, there doesn't seem to be any functioning images of it out there.
There's the custom build Sega Swirl Puzzle Pack by DaBomb, but everything on it works except Sega Swirl itself. Trying to boot Swirl crashes to BIOS, both on NullDC and on burned CD-R. I've tried multiple download sources for this, all with the same result.
There's Sega Smash Pack, but all I can locate is the Echelon version, and I don't know if I'm being paranoid, but I've heard bad things about their rips... and it crashes to BIOS on NullDC.
And I can't locate any selfbooting images of the Dreamcast Magazine discs.
How ironic that the game given out for free multiple times is the hardest one to find and get running... Can anyone help me out with this, either by pointing me to a working image or perhaps getting DaBomb's SSPP to function? (I haven't thrown out the disc just in case there was a way to fix it.)

Can play online, but doesn't very often.
