Educational Qualification - 

You must have completed your master’s degree or equivalent degree with the minimum percentage criteria –

For General Category - 55% Marks

For ST/SC/OBC/PWD/Transgenders - 50% Marks

The PhD holders whose master's level examinations were completed before 19th September 1991 shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks.

If you have pursued your post-graduation in a field that is closely related to the computer science stream, then you can apply for UGC NET computer science exam.

The candidates whose results are awaited are also eligible for the UGC NET Exam only if their PG result can be declared within the 2 years of NET result declaration date.

Age Limit -

For JRF – If you are applying for the junior research fellowship exam, then your age must not more than 30 years.

For Lectureship - There is no upper age limit for assistant professor.
