On 5 June 2013, Sivan was signed to EMI Australia, a Universal Music Australia label, but kept it a secret until a year later. In June 2014 he announced that he will be releasing a five-song EP on 15 August 2014.
The first single will be "Happy Little Pill", the music video for which will be released in late July.
