After getting the notification that i need to update my google remote desktop host application i went through the process of upgrading.
Added the new extension and proceeded to download the chromeremotedesktophost.msi file. When i executed the file i got the "The older version of Chrome Remote Desktop Host cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group" error.
Ive tried using multiple uninstallers, registry searching for string and deleting them but no use!
Im about to leave for vacation and i really need to fix this. Please help.

Same here. Switched to Teamviewer for the time being but their pop ups are annoying and I really enjoyed the ease of use with Chrome Remote Desktop. Can someone please find a solution for this?
