Hi
Is there a way to stop firefox downloading pdf documents automatically with code.
It is a bit difficult to always get users to change firefox settings to stop this

It seems simpler to go into /Tools/Options/Applications and set the PDF to "always ask"?
Just guessing but the code might have to be input for each profile if your dealing with a group.
Doesn't matter what you say, it's wrong for a toaster to walk around the house and talk to you

If you want to post a PDF file on a website and make sure that people will download it rather than open it, I'm afraid the easiest way is to zip it and post the zipped file instead.

Have you tried Inline Disposition?

InlineDisposition changes the disposition type of Content-Disposition response headers from attachment to inline; this prevents servers from forcing the browser to save a file and allows that file to be viewed in the browser, if the browser supports it.
