HP Solution Center ver 14.0 Feature trying to use not on network
Approximately a month ago when double clicking on HP Solution Center icon, the following occurred - Solution Center - Please wait while windows configures Solution Center. Then - The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'SolutionCenter.msi in the box below:
Use source:
C:\Users\David\AppData\Local\temp\7zS7307\seup\SolutionCener\SolutionCenter.msi.
If OK is depressed you receive the following:
SolutionCenter
The path
'C:\Users\David\AppData\Local\temp\7zS7307\setup\SolutionCenter\SolutionCenter.msi cannot be found. verify that you have access to this location and try again, or try to find the installation package 'SolutionCenter' in a folder from which you can install the product SolutionCenter.
After some research found run msicuu from msicuu2 and removing SolutionCenter - received the following:
SolutionCenter" Parsing error in file
C:\Program files(x86)\HP\DigitalImaging\bin\hpqscloc\1033.xml
After some research, found someone had a similar problem after removing Real Player.
Attempted to reinstall Real Player form a previous uninstall and received the same error.
Any ideas would be appreciated
As of 09/19/2017 adding the following:
I went from a 32 bit Windows XP system to the Windows 10 64 bit system
I use an HP Photosmart C3180 All-in-One printer Printer - Scanner - Copier
As of 09/27/2017 adding the following:
I uninstalled and reinsalled the HP All-in-One software to no avail, but noticed that the HP Solution Center shortcut did not delete. After a bit of research, found a Microsoft routine, MicrosoftProgram_Install_and_Uninstall.meta. You are predsented with Are You having problem installing or uninstalling a program. Answering ininstalling will lead you to a list of programs. HP Solution Center is not in the list, but Solution Center by itself is. Selecing this option removes the shortcut from the desktop. I dcon't understand the dynamics between these two. Obviously, the problem is not resolved, but currently I cannot find the continuity between HP Solution Center and Microsoft Solution Center. Any thoughts, as I am at a standstill, and will attempt to check out other avenues of possibilities.
