What kind of us does it have to be because I have the ps4 slim now and getting the pro soon so if I get a usb will that transfer all the games I've played onto the slim to the pro?

Minimum 250gb, as I answered above you can either use the HDD or use the ps transfer services.

Actually if he logs into his ps4 slim account on pro all purchased games will appear

Is there a way to move only skins and stuff to a flash drive or is it only possible to move the whole game? Parent here, my sons ps4 is crashing and I'm trying to save his skins before the whole thing takes a poop and I have to buy a new one or try to factory reset this one.

Well the skins are a part of the saved data so yes it will save

Maybe I should have mentioned this is for fortnite.

Cylinders to Hard and explain how to copy games on Hard

Copying games need an extended drive, a different process to transferring game saves. You can do one or the other but not both

I get to the "copy to USB storage device" then it says "cannot perform that operation" the connected USB storage device is being used as extended storage (CE-41893-5)

You’ll need to reformat to FAT or NTFS by computer. Then reconnect and do not use PS4 format. Just transfer straight for the game saves. (Not the actual saves)

Is this talking about storing game saves to a usb drive, or is it talking about saving the actual game itself to a usb drive?

The game saves. Not the actual game.

Dumb question but it's the first time I'm attempting something like this. Okay here it goes. Once I send the save data to the USB, and I would attach it to PS4 again will the game system read it as if it was a memory card and load all the DLC stuff etc?

Just wanting to double check. Also what usb size would you guys recommend? I only have a 16GB and I don't think that will be enough for my game.

The minimum is 250gb, and to do that what you mentioned is a different process. You would need to format the HDD into extended storage, then transfer the game itself into the HDD, not the save. The save will not be able to transfer over. If you want the save as well, you’ll need an online account, transfer the save to the cloud. And the game to the HDD.

Do I really require to be connected to the internet to do an "offline" PS4 save backup? Seriously? Why?

I've done this but the PS4 keeps saying the USB storage device is not connected.

I want tu copy a game from cd to ps4
Ananyone here please help me

I don't have psn, but it requires a psn account. I wish to know how to do this without an account. I don't see why I would need psn for an operation from system to storage device. It would make sense to require psn from system to cloud, but not system to sub.if anyone can find a way way to do this it would be GREATLY appreciated

I meant usb not sub, but autocorrect doesn't recognize usb I guess I should capitalize it USB
