PS4 newly purchased Williams tables downloaded and installed but won't start.
I purchased the new Williams tables 2 days ago and selected "download and Play". The download page says they are installed. I cannot play any of the tables now. I tried uninstalling FX3 from the PS4 and reinstall and now I cannot get either Williams packs to play. They both say the same thing "Download and Play" but the download page the download link is grayed out and it says installed. I am stuck and no one has answered my email to customer support, please help before I cet my credit card company involved to get my money back.

Download the demo packs for volumes 1 & 2, then it will work. I had the same issue but figured it out after nearly going crazy wondering why it wouldn't work for me when it worked fine for others. There has to be a better way than this. How many others out there are having the same experience?

Hi,
yeah this happened to some people, the guys here pretty much told everything to do to unlock the tables.
You can check in the game's menu on your System if you push the down arrow when the game icon is highlighted, then go down to addons.
Also this is the item: https://store.playstation.com/en-us/...NBALLFX3WMS200 - 05-31-2019, 04:43 AM#8Junior Member

wtf
So okay cool. I just bought Williams Vol 2 on sale. It was $4 and had some tables I love. Purchase, download. No joy. Okay so I need to install the base Pinball Fx3. Gotcha. Install that, get into application. Hey I can import some tables that I think I bought back on PS3. Good on ya that's neat. Install those. Now I'm at the table menu. Can't play the tables I just bought. Hmmm. Google problem, find this thread. Okay I have to download the demo packs for my purchase to work. That's two levels of indirection now from the original thing I purchased. Clunky but okay download, install. Go into fx3, still no access to tables. Everything is installed, keys and demo files. Read thread again. Advised to "refresh" PS4. Whatever that means. Rebuild database? Ok sure why not. I'm so deep into the weeds now this has become a small odyssey. Shutdown PS4. Restart with long press of power button. Need to plug in dualshock. My controller charging situation has long been solved without needing to plug directly into the system. Fine, search for usb micro cord. Plug in. No joy. What? Maybe the plug is no good. Find another plug. Okay now I can access and rebuild. TWENTY MINUTES LATER... Start up PS4. Greeted with new spam icons from Sony for services I will never use (thanks for that). ALL of my recent games are now pushed away into my library (thanks for that). Go to library, start fx3. NO TAP-DANCING JOY. Did someone just pull the most elaborate $4 heist ever? It feels like it.
Look, I know enough about game development to know it's hard. Once you finish 90% you've still got another 90% to go. Sure. My experience with your product has been lackluster. I could be nastier but I'm really just unhappy here. So thanks guys. I'm sad you hold the licenses to pinball's heritage. - 06-02-2019, 07:05 AM#9Junior Member

I'm having the same issue as described in the thread but with the Star Wars Pinball Solo pack on PS4, purchased during a recent PlayStation Store sale
I have tried the all the suggestions listed and spent multiple hours doing so, without any success.
Is this likely to be fixed in a future patch? or should I abandon hope? - 06-03-2019, 10:38 AM#10Marketing Manager

some more things to try if you still have the patience:
Have you downloaded the items on the console itself? It might be worth having a look on store.playstation.com -> logging in -> clicking on your name and then on 'Download List' in the dropdown menu. Find the items in question and start the download from there.
You could try going to (Settings) -> [PlayStation Network/Account Management] -> [Restore Licenses] as well.
One other thing to check is when you are in the main menu of your PS4 navigate to FX3. Then press down arrow to go to the game page. After that navigate to 'PS Store - Add-ons - Owned. Try to select the items in question there to download.
What do you see with these tables? Do they have green arrows on their icons or are they just gray? - 10-20-2019, 03:58 PM#11

Hi,
had the same issues a while ago. Had both demo files and key files installed. Tried refreshing database. Didn't help either.
Here is what I did. Worked for me. (for Details check playstsation support page with keyword: ps4 deactivation)
Uninstall pinball fx3.
Go to settings - account management - and deactivate your system (you should remember your account login information)
Restart
Activate system again under account management.
Install pinball fx3 again.
Install tables again (demo and key files).
Everything at your own risk.
Cheers
