Oregon is my homeland, so I picked up the last one just out of curiosity. Portland is an awesome city, but I never knew there was a rap scene there... Guess it's called "underground" for a reason... The sound quality was awful overall but the music, beats and lyrics are definitely pimp tight and boss as fuck. I think I like "Presidential Pimpin" and "Pimpin' on My Mind" the best.

Gonna pick up this one, too. Hopefully the female vocals won't sound like they're coming from a smoker who got kicked in the throat.

lol... the pros & cons of underground hip-hop. A lot of albums are hit or miss on the tracks + quality. I just go with the flow & try to separate the good, from the bad. Chill-T produces all his own shit tho, he's pretty solid 4 that. Portland has it's share of tight MC's though, pretty sure there was this one cat named Cool Nutz that made it semi-mainstream. If you like that portland pimp shit, here's what he came with in 05...
